Every photographed object is merely the trace left by the disappearance of everything else (J. Baudrillard)

This series of photographs was shot during a moment of personal change. Due to a series of sudden ruptures in my life and affections - and their consequences - I was feeling like the meaning of it all was somehow slipping through my fingers. I found myself wandering at night, trying to grasp a glimpse of rationality through the mist of all that chaos. There was a 'before' and an 'after', I had to accept it. Still, traces of the past were surrounding me everywhere. This series is a collection of those traces.
